Mr. Thiessen joined Waverley Pharma in February 2020. He has extensive pharmaceutical experience having worked for BauschHealth Companies Inc. (formerly Biovail Corporation), for 28 years, working hisway up from manager to site director of the manufacturing operation inSteinbach, Manitoba.  He led a team of roughly 400 employees and providedoverall leadership and strategic direction at the operation.  Mr. Thiessenhas a Bachelor of Science in Biology and an Executive M.B.A. from AthabascaUniversity in Edmonton, Alberta.​
